Day 9 Canastota East Syracuse

 Another  long walk today. Rachel met us in Durhamville  and shuttled us to our hotel in Canastota. We ate dinner at the 1854 restaurant. Not sure way it was named that but we were hungry and the beer was cold

 We had another 16.6 walk today the last 1.5 miles were up a very busy road. 




We passed on the outskirts of Chittenango, a cute village with a very nice display of the old canal.




We found a great rest area a few miles before green lake state park with rest rooms.


Another  beautiful day to walk!

Day 15 Greece to Albion

 Today is the first of 3 days on the bike to our final destination Buffalo. A 33m ride today. With a stop in Brockport for lunch. A big thanks to Tom and Diane for a lift to our starting point on Greece. Trail was all stone dust today and right along the canal. We had lunch  at Barbers and will spend the night at Andrea's and Jesse house, Bill and Shelly's daughter and son in law. Jess is also a pilot, so Kathy and I also enjoy a ride in a plane, very cool.  Enjoy today's pics.
