Last Day








 Today we finished our adventure.  We ended up In Buffalo and met a buddy of mine Craig Meinking for lunch. As always Craig entertained with some good stories. Today  was suppose to be a 30m bike ride. But due to a lot of construction in Buffalo along the canal it ended up being a 6m walk into the city for Black Rock Park. We all wanted to finish together  and it made sense to finish as we started,  walking. We had some great times and made good memories with great friends. Where do we go next?   June 21, 1947 - Jan. 25, 2020 For the past 15 years or so, tourists and locals have gaped at a house on Ontario Avenue in Niagara Falls, with some perhaps absorbing its apocalyptic message. The religious-themed art  covering the house and front yard was the work of Isaiah Robertson, an expert woodworker and home improvement contractor. He also said God had designated him as a prophet. "The Prophet Isaiah. He was something else," his wife, Gloria Dolson Robertson, said Friday. "It was unbelievable, if you'd been around him, but everything he said came to pass." Another Walk

 On Sunday, 6 Sept, we begin our walk and bike tour of The Erie Canal. Having been covid out of our Rim to Rim hike of the Grand Canyon in May and Jul 2020, we decided to undertake this.  We start in Schenectady  and end in Buffalo Feel free to follow along.

Day 10 Canastota to Weedsport and THE BOSS

 We jumped ahead  here with a ride from my son in law. We were looking to do 10 today but a slight miscalculation on my part led to 13.5m. We had Kathy sister, Karen walk with us today.  Again great weather day. And the trail was mostly  stone dust. We found a nice swing set along the way. And a place to take a break and rest our dogs.
